A School Trip to Italy
Last month, Class 9-A went on a school trip to Rome, the capital of Italy. Italian people speak Italian and they are very friendly. The students visited the Colosseum, an ancient arena where gladiators fought thousands of years ago. They also visited the Vatican Museum and threw coins into the Trevi Fountain. Their guide said, “People believe that if you throw a coin, you will return to Rome one day.” Everyone had a wonderful time. They tried pizza and gelato. Marco, an Italian student, joined them and said, “Welcome to my country! I can speak Italian and English.”
