Greenfield High School — Rules for Students
1. Students must arrive at school on time. If you are late, you must get a permission slip from the office.
2. You should always be polite to your teachers and classmates. Unpleasant behaviour is not acceptable.
3. Students must not use their mobile phones during lessons. You should keep them in your bag.
4. You have to wear the school uniform every day. If you don’t wear it, you should bring a note from your parents.
5. You mustn’t eat or drink in the library. You should use the canteen for meals and snacks.
6. Students should participate in at least one voluntary club or activity per semester.

Energy-Saving Tips for Households
1. You should turn off the lights when you leave a room. Leaving lights on all day wastes a lot of electricity.
2. You had better use public transport instead of driving. Cars produce harmful gases that pollute the air.
3. You must not waste water. Taking very long showers may cause water shortages in summer.
4. You should unplug electronic devices when you are not using them. Devices on standby still use energy.
