Ad C — Customer Service Representative

Candidate 1 — Elif: Elif graduated from a fine arts programme. She has been designing logos and posters for local businesses for two years. She is skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Candidate 2 — Burak: Burak has a degree in computer engineering. He learned Python and JavaScript through online courses and university projects. He enjoys solving problems and working with teams.

Candidate 3 — Selin: Selin studied English Language and Literature at university. She speaks English and Turkish fluently. She worked at a hotel reception for six months and is comfortable talking to people.

From a Small Workshop to a Global Brand
Canan Dagdeviren grew up in a small town in Turkey. From an early age, she was curious about science and technology. After completing her studies in physics and engineering, she moved to the United States to continue her research. Today, she is a professor at MIT and leads a research group that develops wearable health devices.

Dagdeviren’s work focuses on turning everyday objects into smart health monitors. She has invented flexible sensors that can be placed on the skin to measure heart rate and blood pressure. Her innovations aim to make healthcare accessible to everyone, especially people in rural areas who cannot easily visit hospitals.

In 2019, she was named one of the most influential people in the world by a major international magazine. She often says that her success comes from working hard and never giving up on her dreams. She encourages young people in Turkey to follow careers in science and technology.

Summer Camp Assistant — Help Wanted!
GreenValley Youth Camp is looking for enthusiastic high school students to work as summer camp assistants during July and August. Responsibilities include helping younger children with outdoor activities, organising games, and teaching basic English. Applicants should be energetic, responsible, and good with children. No previous experience required. Please send a short letter of intent explaining why you are the right person for this role.
Your Task
Write a letter of intent (6–8 sentences) for the summer camp assistant position. In your letter:
